How to Browse
Open the application in a browser so you can see the default page and click Browse:
You’ll then see the browse area - click on the + icon next to any Category to view sub Categories:
If you click it the Category name all of the Items in that Category will be displayed on the map. The number in brackets next to each Category name tells you how many Items there are in each Category. If you click on the + icon next to Options you can see further information: - clicking ‘Send to a Friend’ will open your email application and enter a URL back to the Map. You can then enter your Friend’s email address and send them a link.
- clicking ‘KML for Google Earth’ will dynamically generate KML data to be displayed in Google Earth. Only click this if you have Google Earth installed. It will automatically open Google Earth and plot all Items in the Category in Google Earth.
If you click on the + icon next to Items you can see further information: - you can see all Items are prefixed by an identifier number. This is so you can easily reference against the map
- you can choose to view the Item Details, the Category Reading list, or click on the coloured icon on the map to view a zoomed instance.

The information window appears, in which you can either click on the View Details or Reading Lists links, or look at the ‘Searches’ tab to find other sources of information about this Item. You can also use the map zoom control on the small map.
