I have recently been experimenting with creating point clouds from a UAV using photosynth. Its all very well trawling around a very well known site near my parents, if anybody has something they would like flown in the MK Bedford area I would be happy to do it to see if you can acquire some useful data. Now how do I add images into posts here?? I will try and add some urls and see if they appear inline. This is the point cloud you end up with. We have fixed wing and rotary platforms and have a feeling we can get better looking clouds! Humm that did'nt work I will add some iFrames. Heres a bigger version. Remember thats a point cloud that your looking at, I am not clever enough to drape it and scale it, but maybe I will get there. G

Great stuff Gary, although I had to google what a UAV was - Unmanned Aerial Vehicle. Do you have any more examples of this?
