Google Map - MapServer

I'm soon to begin testing MapServer to serve up dynamic layers to my Google Map application via WMS (Web Mapping Service) and WFS (Web Feature Service).
I'll build in a mechanism so that different layers of information can be toggled (shown or hidden) on top of other layers. I want to test the performance of using points, polygons and polylines with the Google API.
