I've finished off enabling MIDAS XML outputs from the UK Archaeology Map catalogues - finally. A lot of other stuff got in the way but I've finished off the admin section and loaded up all of the English Heritage Thesauri tables and data.

You can find the 1st output here:

http://www.online-archaeology.co.uk/UKArchaeologyMap/UKArchaeologyMapViewCatalogue/tabid/54/Default.aspx

Look at the 'MIDAS XML' column and you'll see an XML icon on the 'Airfields' row. I can publish Category from the admin section and they'll appear in this table. I've only published Airfields so far to see the take-up.

If you're interested in data standards for archaeology data you'll find most of what you need here:

Next I plan to write some Javascript so I can allow XML files to be loaded onto the map from a input box - then the application will be fully FISH enabled.
