The UK Archaeology Map is now fully enabled to export and import XML that uses the MIDAS XML schema. So long as the XML can be reached via a URL and it is in the MIDAS XML standard then the data can be displayed on the map. Read More »

I've finished off enabling MIDAS XML outputs from the UK Archaeology Map catalogues - finally. A lot of other stuff got in the way but I've finished off the admin section and loaded up all of the English Heritage Thesauri tables and data.You can find the 1st output here:http://www.online-archaeology.co.uk/UKArchaeologyMap/UKArchaeologyMapViewCatalogue/tabid/54/Default.aspxLook at the 'MIDAS XML' column and you'll see an XML icon on the 'Airfields' row.
