Anyone know where I can get hold of some freely available datasets? I want to start test driving some GIS packages for reviews for the site. cheers, Steve White

What datasets do you want? Raster DEM Vector TIN Site excavation (polygons) Point distributions (finds/sites) Aerial/satellite imagery Geophysics Attribute data (context record) Also what formats would you prefer? I tend to go for: .img for all raster Geodatabase or Shapefile for Vector (and points) .img and shapefiles are pretty interoperable although geotiff might be more advisable. Ant

This is going to be a big learning curve for me. I'll have to get back to you Ant as we now have a new baby daughter (Ruby) and pretty much full on at work for a while. Thanks though. Steve White
