| We (at Framework Archaeology) have updated the Framework Free Viewer to correct a couple of issues with the software and add a few enhancements.
You can access the new version of the software at the link in the post above ( http://www.framearch.co.uk/t5/evidence ) which we are providing as a Windows Installer package (.msi). That is approximately a 3MB download.
There have been no changes to the data, so you do not need to re-download the data.
If you are running Windows 98, the .msi uses the Windows Installer 2.0 engine, so you may need to install it first in order to run the package. You can access the Windows Installer 2.0 engine at:

| This is a fantastic piece of work. The Viewer is top class. I think with some effort and the right architecture to back it up (MapServer) I reckon you could get a pretty good online version using the Google Maps API. You'd just need to get MapServer to produce the custom tiles at the higher zoom levels. That would be an interesting one to try.

The data supporting Framework Archaeology's publication "From hunter gatherers to huntsmen. A history of the Stansted landscape", Framework Archaeology Monograph No. 2 (2008) is now available for download at:
http://www.framearch.co.uk/stansted/index.html
and is distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution Non-commercial licence.
There is a .msi for use in the Freeviewer or if you prefer you can access the thematically zipped data files (photos, spatial data etc)
