Hi, I only found this site yesterday but am really pleased there's a Uk archaeology forum...I'm a recent archaeology graduate, my main interests are british prehistory (esp the social life in the neolithic, my dissertation was looked at ownership and inequality in the neo.), rock art and the use of anthropology in arcaheology. I've no idea what I'm doing with my life yet - possibly moving towards museums but I'm looking for more practical experience in archaeology first so if anyone knows of digs that need volunteers I'd love to know!

well yes and no...i do have it but before I could get round to sending it my PC decided to get a virus and is now in the state of needing memory retrieval or re-formatting...slightly less than ideal as it's the only place I have a complete version of my dissertation but hopefully some kind of solution will be found soon! I hadn't forgotten though and am still aiming for ASAP although I'm not sure how long that is :o) Ciff

...forgot to ask, how would I go about sending it? There doesn't seem to be an attachment facility on the forum email system...

Ciff - Welcome to the forums. How about sending me a copy of your dissertation so I can publish it on the site? This will help others access your work and will provide content to the site to help with search engine results. cheers, Steve White
