I have just started the course at Univ. of Leicester by doing Aims & Methods in Archaeology and Classical Archaeology. Earlier this year I spent 3 hot weeks digging in a cave in Murcia with Prof Michael Walker. I am going to Vindolanda for 3 weeksin May. There are of lot of sites on my doorstep. I really prefer the Roman- (Brit, Gallo Ibero periods.
I can highly recommend Michael Walker's dig at Murcia. If anyone interest I can pass on the details.
I shall come back later when I have finished my 2 assignments due in early next month. Thanks for asking. Gerald

| I'm with you on the Classical period, I studied Ancient History & Classical Archaeology at Warwick Uni. The Vindolanda trip will be a great experience. |
