| Two students currently doing AS Archaeology and currently half way into the course.
We are now looking for some work experience that will help us on our application forms for university.
We really enjoy this and would like to do it.
We are currently in Mansfield and are seeking any volunteering work any where within Midlands/Yorkshire.
If can not do we wouldn't mind anywhere in the country.

| There is a dig coming up in Lower Bradford, (oakwell Hall), which has been going on for a few years.
It is run by WYAS with a schools training dig and helped by South Leeds Archaeology Group. It runs for 2 weeks including weekends.
It is in May, and is you require any more info, call WYAS (Dave Wheldrake) I am sure he would be happy for some help. Also go to http://www.southleedsdig.org.uk under . Contact Paul Boothroyd. |

Unsure if your interested in this or not, but I am currently excavating at the weekends with my local archaeological Group, Bexley Archaeological Group. We do however, have a training week in August 6th-10th - £32.00 to excavate for the week, including surveying etc.
If you are interested, a form can be printed off at www.bag.org.uk. However, please email pips-pad@tiscali.co.uk, who is the site director and he will send you one and give you more info on the excavation.
I was there at the weekend and got burnt rotten! Loads of finds were coming up and afterwards a nice pint at the pub situated 2 minutes away.
