| For any one interested in a fantastic one day course in Flintknapping with one of the UK top knapping experts, take a look at Natural Pathways flintknapping course (www.natural-pathways.co.uk/flint-knapping.htm) I attended this course last October and it was a great experience.
Will Lord took us through the history & development of knapping in a very practical manner, showing us many of the techniques used by the people of ancient history.
We all got to make our own flint tools and discovered just how hard it can be, till you try you don't realize how complex it is to make a tool from a piece of flint rock.
I intend repeat the experience & attend another course, there's so much to take in, plus I need more practice making arrowheads.
