Anyone found any reliable software yet? I downloaded some from an astronomy centre in Wales on the recommendation of someone else, then we all discovered our PC's crashing left, right and centre. Anyone know some decent stuff for download? Regards,Gordon http://freewebs.com/thehistoryvault/

I downloaded TimeMap http://www.timemap.net and had a play with it. It's a bit complicated, but it's open source so well worth a look. Depends what you need it for. I was test-driving it for an idea I have about geo-referencing resource data. Let me know if it's any good. cheers, Steve White

Cheers Steve, I'll give it a try. I'm only looking for something to try my hand at, while I persuade the wife to buy me a GPS unit for Xmas! Regards,Gordon http://freewebs.com/thehistoryvault/
