I've just set up a Gmail account and so far I'm very impressed. The spam filtering is the best I've experienced and the pop forwarding allows me to filter all my email accounts through Gmail to Outlook Express if I want to. The service is still beta and you need an invitation to get your Gmail account. PM me and I can invite you if you want to give it a go. I have also just come across Google spreadsheets which looks useful for free web storage of archaeological data. I've uploaded my Lofts Farm spreadsheet as an example and set it for anyone to view.
