The Imperial War Museum will be playing host to the 4th University College London/IWM Conference on Materialities & Cultural Memory of 20th Century Conflict on Saturday 26th May. The Conference is entitled Conflict Landscapes; Materiality & Meaning in Contested Places 1900-2007. Topics will include the Western Front & Gallipoli in WW1, the impact of the military on the British homefront in WW2, and murals both at RAF Coltishall and in Ulster.
