I keep reading on the English Heritage site that they're currently conducting a survey of all Army Camps in Britain, covering the period 1850-2000. This would be on a similar basis to the WW2 POW camp one of a couple of years ago, ie it would cover ALL of the UK and would be a definitive guide. I think there are also plans afoot to publish it as a follow up to previous surveys on anti-aircraft gunsites and bombing decoys. Point is I can't get any more up to date info from the site. Anyone know how far the project has moved on? Regards,Gordon http://freewebs.com/thehistoryvault/
