well done Gordon where would the 3 camps which housed the prisoners of war who built the churchill barriers be classed as? kirkwall? http://p208.ezboard.com/btalkinghistory

yep Co-camps were usually classed under the nearest town and post office. See what I meant about the number of new council areas?! Steve-many thanks for adding it mate Regards, Gordon

No problem. If I had the time to produce a detailed map with the council areas on, all of these Camps could be entered into a section like the UK Resources area. Then you could add some more information about each. Steve White

Gordon - your note at the bottom of the scottish page for the kirkwall entry states "A single hut, converted into a chapel and decorated by Italian prisoners, survives." Being nit-picky :) Its actually two nissen huts joined together http://p208.ezboard.com/btalkinghistory
