Gordon - There are some 'Best Practice' guides published by ADS (Archaeology Data Service) that are in the Books section of Online Archaeology. I'm hoping that others who have practical experience of using such technologies will join us soon on these forums. The plan is to eventually produce some step-by-step guides on some of the techniques involved. Steve White
