Anyone catch that Horizon programme on BBC2 the other night? It was about certain religious artifacts had been proven as fakes, even after they had been pronounced as authentic by some Biblical scholars. As a result, a number of international museums are suspected to have fakes in their collections. Not a surprise as such, but it was amazing to see how scholars and archaeologists could be fooled.
