I think merging accounts would certainly make it easier for users, Steve. Anything that kills spam (short of a machine gun!) can't be all bad. Another forum I'm a member of has just migrated to a new server too...and it's going to take some getting used to. Thanks Gordon. I don't like doing things for the sake of it but I really think a forum upgrade would add value. I'm going to think about a bit more though because a lot of traffic for Online Archaeology comes as a result of good search engine rankng of these forum posts. Steve White
