Just a reminder that registered members on the portal can subscribe to various areas. You must be registered and logged in to activate subscriptions. Once you are logged in some areas of pages will have a 'Subscribe' link in the header. Click this link and you can choose the frequency of email updates eg. if you select 30 days for the Jobs module, you will be sent an email every 30 days which contains all added jobs within that period. To manage your subscriptions click on your email address in the main portal banner. An example of the subscriptions feature can be found on the Jobs page: http://www.online-archaeology.co.uk/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabindex=72&tabid=35 I've tested it against my account and all seems to be OK, but let me know if you have any problems. Registered Users can now view each available subscription module on their account page. To view this page, you must be registered and logged in. Then click on your email address in the main portal banner. Once you are on the page you will see a series of checkboxes. Select the Modules that you want to subscribe to and click 'Subscribe to the select Modules' button. You will be defaulted to be alerted every 7 days for each selected subscription. You can change this on the same page. This means that once you are subscribed an email will be sent to your address with any updates to the relevent section. i.e. if you want alerts for any jobs that have been added, it saves you browsing the portal, just wait for an update! Again, this is new, so let me know of any problems. cheers, Steve White
