Hello

I'm Ishtar and I'm interested in very very old stuff. If it's newer than about 2,000 BC, then I'm not that interested - so that pretty well includes anything the Time Team dig up.

I'm particularly fascinated by Neolithic ritual sites and anything to do with whatever spiritual traditions were practised by ancient man. I'm also a bit of a mythologist and so I'm especially interested in prehistoric man's cognition of his own natural world (not just this Earth, but the wider universe) as I reckon, from the myths that have been handed down to us, that he knew quite a lot more than we do today. In short, I think he's been given a bad press!
