Hey everyone, I'm Tom and I'm just about to enter into my third year in the School of Historical Studies at the University of Leicester. Though I am officially a history student, my interests are now largely archaeological, and I'm currently writing a dissertation on the Vale of Pickering, looking at the transition of society there from Romano British to Anglo Saxon. I had my first taste of fieldwork this summer too, working on the Romano British Villa at Thwing which was fantastic. This seems a pretty useful resource to be able to chat and get advice from other archaeologists.
