Hi, my name is Tracey.

I am researching my family tree and in doing so I have come across a POW photo/postcard of a relitive who was a POW at Heydebreck.

The photo is of a group of POW's unpacking Red Cross crates/parcels outside a row of wooden huts.

On the back it is set out like a postcard and written in pencil.
On the right hand side it has the address of where the postcard was to be sent and on the left hand side it says;

Gebuhrenfrei

Name: G Borrett 005

1. Kof B.A.B 20
Heydebreck 0/55
Germany

It is then stamped with a red official stamp that has a crown and the words PASSED P.W.341

Please can anyone give me any information.

Kind regards
Tracey

Welcome to the forums. I can't help with that particular one, I'm afraid. but if you try this forum-  http://www.ww2talk.com/forum/prisoners-war/ - you might have more luck.
Sorry I couldn't help more.

Regards, Gordon
