Hello Marcus, welcome to the forums. You say you're from Singapore - do you still live there or somewhere else? What aspect of archaeology are you interested in? Steve White

The only university course I could find in the UK for marine archaeology is this one at Bournemouth University: http://courses.bournemouth.ac.uk/3details.asp?programmeCode=bsma It might be worth contacting them to see if they offer distance learning. Here are some other links that might help you out: http://www.bbc.co.uk/history/archaeology/excavations_techniques/marine_06.shtml You don't need to apologise for asking the question here best of luck, Steve White

Whilst on was on holiday on the Isle of Wight, I visited Fort Victoria - situated North north west on the island. Here they have a museum dedicated to Underwater Archaeology - as the Isle of Wight used to be connected to mainland England. There has been a many a battle fought in the Solent. I cannot remember their website but type in Fort Victoria, Isle of Wight and you should be able to find it. Regards Clare Gillett Bexley Archaeological Group www.bag.org.uk Clare
