Hello, all, I'm Ylime. (RL name is that backwards.) I've applied to study archaeology in 2006, and I've got some offers from universities, which is very exciting. I hope I can get the grades in my exams (Latin, History, French, Biology, and English) to get into York, my university of choice. I'm interested in archaeology in general, but the older it is the more interested I get, I have to say. Such is my interest coughobsessioncough with archaeology that when we did a media project in English I managed to work the Venus of Willendorf into it. Last summer I did a dig at St. Leonard's training dig in York, which was fantastic. It was a mediaeval hospital on top of a Roman fort, all under a well-intentioned Victorian re-landscape. I had a glorious time there. This summer I'm going to Greece, and I'll be going to Olympia and Delphi and Mycenae, which is going to be so, so wonderful and exciting! Other interests are reading, writing, walking, and history. Oh, and fans. The ones you wave. malo mori quam foedari
