Do you mean along the lines of the military-themed one I suggested?
Members could discuss military(and battlefield) archaeology from all periods, post lists of surviving sites, discuss the merits (and demerits) of particular forms of defence works etc.
I have lists of surviving 20th century sites in the UK, which might only have limited interest, but they would help kick things off. I know some people are interested in aviation archaeology, so that might be an option too.
What do you think?

As this will hopefully include some articles, I want to devote a section on the main portal to this, not just a forum.
I will though, set up a Military archaeology forum, but request that if people have articles or other resources (photos/docs), then they send them in for inclusion on the main portal.

Cheers! I've got some stuff I'll tidy up and send you for the portal, when I get two minute's peace.
Meantime, I'll see if we can draw people into the new forum.
Thanks again.
