Hello everyone....I have been checking out for Graduate Courses in Archaeology around the UK. I am much satisfied by the Courses offered as well as the kind of facilities present in many of the Universities. While I firmly believe that ratings and rankings do tell a lot about the respective departments/universities, at the same time, I am aware that the students' feedback(especially current students or even those who have finished)is one of the key factors in determining the quality of an institution. Can anyone offer me any further insight on this matter? Or, can anyone suggest a particular website where one gets to interact with archaeology students/alumni around the UK? Thank you. Hello

I don't know of any online resource where UK archaeology students regularly post. From my own experience at Warwick University I can tell you that sometimes an individual tutor can make all the difference. Good resources are one thing but personal inspiration is another. As with everything, you get out what you put in. Steve White

Thanks Steve! I absolutely agree that a single teacher can make(even where the faculty is more than 10) your dreams come true, and that too, far more than your expectations. I have personally experienced this while doing my Post-Grad. Anyway, thanks again for giving me a lead. Hello
