Investigator (Aerial Survey and Investigation)

English Heritage protects and provides advice on this country's unique legacy of historic buildings, landscapes and archaeological sites. We also manage over 400 sites and welcome in excess of 11 million visitors to these each year.
Based in either Swindon or York, you will undertake the important role of interpreting and mapping of archaeological and historical features from aerial photographs as part of a team working on the National Mapping Programme. Your work will enable English Heritage to provide up-to-date information to its customers.
You should have a degree in archaeology or related subject and a good knowledge of British landscape archaeology.
