I've recently graduated in 3D animation and hope to specialise in creating 3D reconstructions. samples of my current work (a reconstruction of the Lurg moor Roman Fort)can be found through the Time Team's 'Big Roman Dig' website at.. http://channel4.com/history/microsites/B/bigromandig/database/2_31.jsp?activityId=5089 Any advice on getting a job in this field, creative criticism or offers of employment gladly accepted Regards, Louie Pastore

Hi louie - Welcome to the forums. If you ever want to add any of your work on the site as a showcase I'd be more than happy to set it up for you. Good luck with your search. Steve White

Hi, i too would be interested in showing some of my stuff here if possible. to see what i've been doing you can visit my (soon to be relocated and upgraded) website at www.speartip.co.uk Louie: i like your model of the fort...looks a bit dark though (could be my monitor i guess) advice on getting work in this field: its tough i find. i've been lucky to be in the right place at the right time so far but there are a few larger outfits out there that seem to monopolise the really juicy jobs. do some low paid/voluntary stuff like youve been doing and keep building up your portfolio and track record. i've just finished a job and am looking for new work but in the meantime i'm gonna do a voluntary reconstruction of a Roman bridge at Corbridge (Northumberland) just to keep my hand in. anyone got any work for me out there :) steve: mind if i drop you an e-mail about getting some of my stuff on your site? cheers, Colin.
