Danish Bunkers There are 6 replies, with the last one on 07/08/2008 at 19:40:13 by Gog :: Its interesting, the perspective some people in Europe have over WW2 remains - i.e. get rid of them. Difficult for us to appreciate, perhaps, not having been occupied (apart from the Channel Islands of course).

quote: I think that magwump is the daughter of Dolly, whose half brother Ben is in fact Vivs dad, after an accident at Christmas in 1989, just before he met Magwump junior and more shockingly, they are all the genetic key to releasing the power of excalibur, which turns out to be an alien artefact, protected by ghosts of those who have died of shame after watching this...
Spoiler!
I am now wondering if Carl Sagan was right and Ezekeil did see aliens in flying saucers... [hm]

BAJR Web award nominations - Orkney Jar There are 14 replies, with the last one on 07/08/2008 at 02:26:36 by Digitaldigging :: "Recognising websites showing excellence in Innovation, Education, Design and Content in Archaeology and Heritage.
I'm not sure which category this fits into."
I can understand why you might have qualms about 'innovation', but surely the other three catagories apply?

Oxford Nighthawk Survey There are 15 replies, with the last one on 06/08/2008 at 23:11:56 by BAJR Host :: Ah thornborough ... did we meet each other there? we must of... ! and yes... we worked together, did not get in each others way.. did not think 'I am better than you' and dare I say it... this continued to grow..
I wonder whatever happened to the 100k spent on the survey... I could have put an archaeologist at every rally to work with the PAS for years .. I could have given GPS systems to every rally.. bags... recording material, cameras.. it could have made a difference... for 2.50 .... we could have come up with the same conclusions... I ain't dissing Oxford... its jsut the whole thing was flawed from the start...
Can I have the next 100k... and a large sum for community work... and training and ......... etc... if the money is out there, and the will, there is so much that can be done.
