Welcome to the UK Archaeology Map
This tool was developed to explore ways in which archaeological and heritage data could be geo-referenced without the need for an expensive GIS package. One of the driving ideas was that it should encourage people to add their own data, and give people the opportunity to comment on data. It should also allow people to find out about things that interest them in their own area. The tool is still being developed, and you can view the pending items in the In Progress section.
